Balloons over the Desert

The geography and climate of Egypt and Dubai are ideal for ballooning. In Dubai view the giant dunes, the moon-like landscape of the rugged Hajor Mountains to the east, and the skyline of Dubai to the west as you rise high into the immense blue of the desert sky. Luxor takes on a totally different perspective. Only from the air is it really possible to appreciate both the modern and ancient cities on the banks of the Nile.

Moroccan Culinary Event

In a Kasbah surrounded by lush greenery and a vegetable garden, a Dada (the traditional cook among wealthy families) will introduce you to the history and traditions of Moroccan cuisine, then teach you to prepare an appetizer and an entree or an entree and a dessert. At the end of each half-day workshop, you'll dine on the meal you have just prepared in a private patio shaded by olive and fig trees.
